New BALPPA Lounge At EAG

Following on from its successful premiere at EAG International Expo this year, the British Association of Leisure Parks, Piers and Attractions (BALPPA) will be supporting the event at Excel London on 22-24 January 2013.

Newly appointed BALPPA chief executive Paul Kelly (pictured) will be representing the association at the event.

He said: “Having a physical presence at key industry events is important for any trade association and we’ve organised our AGM to take place on the day before the show. We’ll also be hosting the BALPPA lounge which will be conveniently located right on the expo floor."

EAG international chairman Martin Burlin welcomed BALPPA's support: “We were delighted during the previous event to welcome many BALPPA members to the show and feel sure that this trend will continue for 2013.

"With the blurring of divisions between the various markets in the leisure sector, EAG International Expo is enjoying a broadening appeal. We’re confident that as the show continues to adapt, it will become increasingly relevant to BALPPA members and we’re sure that they will engage with the show and make it their own.”

BALPPA is the non-profit-making trade association representing owners, managers, suppliers and developers in the UK’s leisure parks, piers, zoos and static attractions sectors.

Now in its 76th year, BALPPA represents some of the UK’s most iconic attractions.
